I think we leave this as-is, makes sense to me now.

Would having a "searchable" dropdown be a viable alternative? Perhaps when you click the dropdown it shows the five most used values and then lets you search for others?
There's another request for "Deleting user properties" centrally (i.e. for all of your customer profiles at once). That would also help with decluttering.
