Great idea michael.arnold@allatps.com! It's not on the roadmap yet, but thanks for posting, we'll definitely keep this one in mind, what you've posted is a good solution.
In the past we've considered making emails/messages something you can define separately in the same way as a template, so you could use it in multiple places, what you've described sounds like a half way step, which I like.
Also, to help me understand, are you willing to share your specific use case(s) for using a message in two places? ie. what kind of email/workflow is it, and is it exactly the same content?
